As the weather cooled this June, the leaves fell and dried out on the pavement. They crunched sweetly in the pile. I stopped and turned on my sound recorder. My body stilled and the leaves sung. The synthesizer darts, jumps, shifts, disappears and then soars. Tony speaks about the past when he climbed mountains. He speaks about being caught amongst the traffic; on the edge of safety and unsure of how to proceed.
I don’t know much about the story of this album but the tone reminds me of bright light through tall gum trees next to the water. The album is a beautiful trip. Tom Allum
